About Me

Let me introduce myself my name is Angela, and I am the owner of The Skinhouse by Angela Rae, your skincare specialist! Let me share a bit about my skin journey.
When I was in my early twenties, I struggled with acne. I tirelessly experimented with various products, attempted DIY skincare remedies, and watched countless videos in search of a solution. I reached to the point of helplessness where I was prescribed Accutane. My skin not only worsened but it also had negative effects on my overall health. I was loosing my hair, feeling depressed, and experiencing discomfort due to the dryness of my skin. When I stopped taking Accutane, my acne eventually came back. It was during this time that my interest in the skincare industry peaked, after I left the medical field and started esthetician school back in 2017, my passion for the field blossomed.
When switching up my home care routine to medical-grade skincare, my acne cleared up, and my self-confidence came back. This transformative experience served as my inspiration to help others achieve the same results. I wanted to pursue a career where I could assist people in looking and feeling their best.
In 2017, I obtained my Esthetician license from North Hills Beauty Academy, solidifying my knowledge and expertise in the field. In 2020 I embraced the role of a business owner by doing facials for free in my tiny apartment, then renting from a chiropractors office where I started Aesthetics by Angela Rae, then finally establishing The Skinhouse by Angela Rae.
Since then, I have cultivated a loyal following by providing results-driven treatments, adopting a straightforward approach, and dedicating myself wholeheartedly to serving my clients.
Here at the Skinhouse by Angela Rae we aim to create an experience that leaves you wanting more and keeps you returning for the exceptional glowing treatment you deserve! I strongly believe in the power of giving, as what you give to the world reflects back to you. By providing my clients with confidence, empowerment and genuine care, my hope is that they will in turn spread that positivity to others.
